Before I announce the final results, let me get some general business out of the way.
Now on to the results. Congratulations on a difficult but great 8 weeks!! I've never run a challenge during the holiday season, but I really enjoyed it. And I'm so impressed with all of your results! Even though some of us didn't do as well as we hoped, we ALL made progress. Progress is progress and we can all be proud of yourselves for fighting to the end. While there is a winner in this challenge, we are all winners when we make efforts to take care of ourselves. So even if you didn't meet your end goal, you are closer now than you were when we started and that's what really counts. Don't get down on yourself. Keep making your health a priority! As a group (38 people) we lost a total of 302 lbs and 310 inches!! (The same number of inches lost during the last challenge with 50 people) Wahoo!!! As stated in the rules the following people will earn part of the pot of money:
An email detailing your total winnings and refunds will be sent in the next couple of days. Once I have given a day or two for people to respond to any errors I may have made, I will send out the payments via Venmo. Hi! Kyra Thompson was also part of Team Bear. Thanks so much for keeping us motivated during a tricky time of year! If possible, my husband Ryan Nelson and I would like to donate our winnings to CompassionTakesAction.org. Venmo- @CompassionTakesAction-inc. No worries if that makes things too tricky, we could always just transfer funds.
