Wow! Another great week! As a group we have already lost 268 lbs. Many of you commented about being disappointed about not losing as much as you wanted. I complained about the same thing to my team. We just have to remember that we are building good habits and a little weight loss every week is still a win! Those small amounts will add up to a lot by the end of the challenge, and often those that are only losing small numbers on the scale end up losing big numbers with the tape measure. Don't get discouraged. What a wonderful first week! It feels so good to be eating right and exercising again. Why do we let it slip between challenges when it feels so good?? Keep up the good work. You will see results. Before I announce this week's winners, I just want to remind everyone that if you make a mistake while reporting your points, you just need to go in and report them again, and then leave a note in the comment box that those are the points you want me to use. Also, please know that I am a little lenient during the first point report while people are trying to figure out how things work, but going forward, if your points are not in when I go in to tally them, they will not count for that week. As a group we lost a total of 174 lbs!! That's an entire person!! Please be aware that most people have a big loss during the first week of the challenge because of the changes you have made to your diet and exercise. Don't get discouraged in the coming weeks when you start losing only 1-2 lbs/week. That is a healthy weight loss.
