Before I announce the final results, let me get some general business out of the way.
Now on to the results. Eating healthy is HARD!! However, it feels sooo good! Let's keep doing it, even though the challenge is officially over. Congratulations on a difficult but great 8 weeks!! Even though some of us did do as well as we hoped, we ALL made progress. However, progress is progress and you can all be proud of yourselves for fighting to the end. While there is a winner in this challenge, we are all winners when we make efforts to take care of ourselves. So even if you didn't meet your end goal, you are closer now than you were when we started and that's what really counts. Don't get down on yourself. Keep making your health a priority! As a group (71 people) we lost a total of 617.6 lbs and 469.38 inches!! That is INCREDIBLE!!! If you would like to brag about your before and after, send me your picture and I'll add it to the collection of before and afters that will be posted on this website! As stated in the rules the following people will earn part of the pot of money:
An email detailing your total winnings and refunds will be sent in the next couple of days. Once I have given a couple of days for people to respond to any errors I may have made, I will send out the payments via Venmo. You did it!! You made it to the end of the challenge. I'll keep this post short, since I know you really want to know the final results. I will post those in a separate post after I double check to make sure I have everything correct. But congratulations for completing a tough but exciting 8 weeks.
2+ Club: Brian Simon, Elise Thompson, Jared Hawes, Jennifer Penrod, Mary Ann Hawes, Kari Smith, Melanee Bates, Stephanie Hawes, Jesse Rose, Tina Rose, Ross Teemant, Wayne Billman, We are now officially in our last week of the challenge. I will send out an email on Thursday with instructions for your final weigh-in. As a group we are continuing to see the weight coming off, slowly but surely. Let's just keep at it. Start thinking ahead to after the challenge ends to maintain all of your hard work you've accomplished in these last weeks. It's not easy, so be proud of what you've accomplished and don't sabotage it by reverting back to unhealthy habits. I know, easier said than done. Create a plan now to make it easier on you.
Here are this weeks results. 2+ Club - Lisa Allais, Melanee Bates, Tina Rose, Elise Thompson, Tracie Simon There's only a week and a half left in the challenge. Thank you for the comments you leave when you report your points. Some of you are reaching milestones in your health and are celebrating. Others of you, like me, have stalled in our weight goals. I'll admit, I've been a bit frustrated this week about it, but then I have to think about how my body is feeling, even though the scale is not responding the way I want it to. People around me are noticing the changes as well. Let's keep fighting! Blast that scale!
