Another week down and another 59.5 pounds down. Keep up the good work! This challenge really is a close match between many teams, so keep fighting until the end. We only have three weeks left.

Week 4 is my favorite! At this point in the challenge it is so easy to become frustrated with the scale, but it's exciting to see the changes with the tape measure. It helps us to see that we are making a difference. And Wow! In only four weeks we have lost a total of 441 lbs and 315 inches!! This is so awesome! If we keep working as hard as we have been for the last four weeks we can double those numbers. Lets do this!!!!! As I said in the week four challenge, this is the point of the challenge where people start to dwindle in their commitment to the challenge. They may follow the challenge rules, but aren't pushing themselves to meet their goals. This is when you will really start to build habits instead of simply following rules. Keep going strong until the end!! (For some reason, Weebly won't let me change the color to represent teams anymore. Boo!!) 2+ Club - Brian Simon, Elise Thompson, Carolee Adams, Luke Marley, Kari Smith, Melanee Bates, Ross Teemant,
Do you know what's cool? I copied and pasted this post from the last round of Building Good Habits and only had to erase a few names from the weight-loss clubs. Look at how many we still have losing big numbers in week three of this round! It is evidence of all your hard work. This round of the challenge is a close one and a tough one.
By the time you read this, we will be almost be half-way done with the challenge. Can you believe it!!?? When you report your week 4 points, you will need to be sure and use the week four point report link. I have disabled the regular point report link until after week four to make sure no one accidentally reports their points in the wrong place. Keep on keepin' on!! All progress is progress, even if it's small. 5+ Club - Jesse Rose 2+ Club - Elise Thompson, Jared Hawes, Tracie Simon, Wayne Billman, Gared Whiting, Jessica Whiting, Amie Croft, Jason Croft, Lisa Allais, Andy Duncan, Janel Orgill, Ryan Orgill, Scott Fleming, Kari Smith, Melanee Bates, Melanie Bush, Carolee Adams, Kayla Marley, Luke Marley, Lisa Howland, Samantha Randolph, Gary Bartholomew Wow! What a week! Weight-loss can be a frustrating journey. Many of you had a great weight-loss week as indicated by the number of people in our weight-loss clubs below. Congratulations! However, there were also many of you, including myself, who did not have great weeks on the scale. The important thing is to keep on keeping on. There were several of you who mentioned that had it not been for the challenge you wouldn't have made the progress you did this week. I know there were several nights where I really didn't want to do my workout, but because I'm accountable to my team and my health, I still did it. So congratulations to those of us that didn't get the results we wanted on the scale but are still continuing to build good habits. The team aspect is critical to this challenge. Continue to support one another and encourage one another to make each week better. You will see and feel the results.
Just as a reminder, the results posted each week are weekly results, not cumulative results. This weeks results were super close between all the teams! Even if you weren't in the top 5 this week, you're not far away, so keep working hard. 5+ club - Mandy Cranney 2+ club - Jared Hawes, Mary Ann Hawes, Seth Hawes, Jason Croft, Jana Jordan, Lisa Allais, Andy Duncan, Dave Fleming, Keith Elison, Kari Smith, Melanee Bates, Melanie Bush, Brandon King, Stephanie Hawes, Susie Taylor, Becky Payne, Jesse Rose, Kurt Payne, Luke Marley, Tina Rose, Jessy Flanders, Lynn Sproul, David Janeway, Ross Teemant, Tiffany Judd |
