The First Weigh-in
- The first thing you need to do for this challenge is download the correct spreadsheet for your selected plan. (If you need a Google version I can send that to you by request, but please note that once you make a copy of the sheet, the formula cells will not be protected so if you accidently type in the wrong cells, you will delete the formulas. )

2. Next, fill out the "Initial Setup" tab on your spreadsheet. If when you open your spreadsheet you don't see the page displayed below, look at the tabs at the bottom of the page and click "Initial Set-up" (circled in red in the image below)
- Take your initial weight and log it in this chart. Important: Do not add any symbols or letters with the numbers (i.e. lb. oz.). Only put your weight numbers. Adding letters or symbols will make the formulas invalid. You never actually report your actual weight to me, so be sure to save this number. I won't be able to help you retrieve it later in the challenge.
- Take your initial measurements as indicated in the image below and log them into the spreadsheet. Again, do not add any letters or symbols (i.e. ", in.) It can be helpful to have someone help you take these measurements to ensure accurate measurements.
3. Save your document, set your goals and make sure you understand all the rules of the challenge. That's all you need to do for the first weigh-in. You do not need to report anything to me until the second Friday of the challenge.
