This round of the challenge is so great! It's so fun to see so many different teams in the first place position throughout the weeks. It's so close between all the teams! Keep going strong.
I LOVE the week four weigh-in because when we start getting frustrated with the scale, the tape measure helps us to see that all our hard work is paying off. As a group we've lost a total of 163 inches in only 4 weeks!!! At our half-way point, we've also lost a total of 192lbs. Go us! Even if we're not losing as much as we want, it's also good to remind ourselves that we're not gaining weight during this holiday season either. :) I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving! It will be fun to see what weigh-in the day after Thanksgiving looks like. Here are this week's results: 2+ Club - Andy Bartholomew, Keith Carter, Angela Langford, Cody Langford, Ross Teemant, Melanee Bates, Seth Hawes, Melissa Nelson, Stephanie Watkins

Oh my goodness! It seems like there's always one week during the course of a challenge that just gets so chaotic that I forget to do points on Sunday night. That was this week! So Sorry.
At this point of the challenge, it can get hard at times so during week 4 everyone should be working on the Week 4 Weekly Challenge. In this challenge it's a time to check in with your team and with yourself and remind yourself why you're doing this challenge....and especially during the holiday season. Doing this check-in will hopefully help us all to keep going strong through the back half of the challenge. Here are this week's results. It was another great week of living healthy. 2+ Club - Gina Duncan, Jennifer Penrod, Kimberly Minson, Keith Carter, Cody Langford, Kari Smith Another great week of building good habits - and we did it through Halloween! One Holiday down, one more holiday and a holiday season to go! Let's stay strong. Here are this week's results:
2+ Club - Dave Fleming, Keith Carter, Kari Smith, Melissa Nelson, Carolee Adams 5+ Club - Cody Langford Congratulations on your first week of building good habits. In my team we have been commenting about how much junk food is already lurking around in our work places, and we haven't even hit peak holiday season yet. This is the primary reason I wanted to do the challenge again during the holiday season - to help us stay healthier during a time that's easy to put on the pounds rather than shed them. As you can see by the list below, we are off to a good start. As a group we lost a total of 72.7 pounds in only one week! However, more importantly than the pounds, I hope you're starting to FEEL better.
Each week I will post the results from that week here on this page of the website. If you're team is on the bottom half of the team list, what can you do to motivate each other to move up on the list for next week? I love the team accountability of this challenge. Let's help each other out. Keep working hard! You'll see results. If not on the scale, you'll see it in the inches. I can't wait to see next week's numbers! Keep up the good work! 2+ Club - Andy Bartholomew, Jennifer Penrod, Kimberly Minson, Keith Carter, Kim Hobson, Angela Langford, Kari Smith, Jared Hawes, Jolene Martinez, Mary Ann Hawes, Seth Hawes, Melissa Nelson, Michelle Greer, Stephanie Watkins, 5+ Club - Gina Duncan, Cody Langford, Carolee Adams, Jenny Capener Before I announce the final results, let me get some general business out of the way.
Now on to the results. Eating healthy is HARD!! However, it feels sooo good! Let's keep doing it, even though the challenge is officially over. Congratulations on a difficult but great 8 weeks!! Even though some of us didn't do as well as we hoped, we ALL made progress. Progress is progress and we can all be proud of yourselves for fighting to the end. While there is a winner in this challenge, we are all winners when we make efforts to take care of ourselves. So even if you didn't meet your end goal, you are closer now than you were when we started and that's what really counts. Don't get down on yourself. Keep making your health a priority! As a group (50 people) we lost a total of 398 lbs and 310 inches!! Wahoo!!! If you would like to brag about your before and after, send me your picture and I'll add it to the collection of before and afters that will be posted on this website! As stated in the rules the following people will earn part of the pot of money:
An email detailing your total winnings and refunds will be sent in the next couple of days. Once I have given a couple of days for people to respond to any errors I may have made, I will send out the payments via Venmo. I'm not going to spend too much time here since I know what you really want to know is the final results. :) Me too, really. Here are the week 8 results. I will post the final challenge results as soon as I have them ready.
5+ Club - Jared Hawes 2+ Club - Amy Cloward, Elise Thompson, Kim Minson, Tracie Simon, Melanee Bates, Mary Ann Hawes, Stephanie Hawes Woah! I'm so sorry I forgot to post the results this weekend. It was a crazy weekend outside of my normal schedule, and I just forgot until I was on the treadmill this morning. I apologize.
We are nearly done with the challenge. Watch for an email from me on Thursday with instructions for our FINAL WEIGH IN!! 2+ Club - Elise Thompson, Judy Cameron, Tracie Simon, Dave Fleming, Mary Ann Hawes I can tell it's getting close to the end of the challenge. By your comments, I've learned that this is a very busy time and it's getting hard to get it all done. We're feeling the same on our team as well. But we just keep on going. Slow and steady wins the race. Every little thing we do to become healthier makes a difference. So let's just keep on going and making ourselves a priority. We only have about 1.5 weeks left to go. WE CAN DO THIS!! 2+ Club - Tasha Joseph, Vanessa Skinner Congratulations team Cheetah!!
We are down another 30lbs this week! The weight is starting to slow down, but it's still coming off for many of us, little by little. Keep working hard! Don't give up. This is where you can really start making eating healthy a habit and not just something you're doing for a short while. We only have 2.5 weeks left, so keep going strong. Here are this weeks results! 2+ Club - Maria Chiara, Melanee Bates, Kim Hobson, Adria Eilers, Mandy Simmons Week 4! We're half way done with the challenge. It's hard to believe. Sometimes the day to day of the challenge can feel like a lot and it can get discouraging looking at the scale each week, but as I've mentioned before, the tape measure almost always shows results. This week was not different. In only four weeks we have lost a total of 291 pounds and 171.73 inches! In only four weeks! Don't let the hard days get you down. Tiny bits of progress add up.
Congratulations on a successful first half of the challenge. Stay strong to the end! Here are this weeks results. 5+ Club - Clifton Koon, 2+ Club - Tasha Joseph, Andy Bartholomew, Kari Smith, Jared Hawes, Mary Ann Hawes, |
